Thanks! I had been pondering things that were visually ironic, and diet books propping up a fridge made me start giggling like crazy. Me too! In fact I just ate the rest of a bag of corn chips and what may have been a full half of a small watermelon. Food is excellent. Comfort food is better. And in the last month, I made a cream pie topped with strawberries. I have one attitude toward cream pie; it may be rich, it may be mostly fat, and over time it may clog my arteries--but get out of my way, because I'm having me some goddamn pie!

I tend to get fat during the winter months. But you know what. I don't really give a damn if people don't like that. Life it to short to eat stuff and do stuff you don't like. I try to eat all natural food though, but I have a weakness for Ice Cream, Lemon bars, Cherry Creme Soda and Raspberry tea. But other then that I'm not really into little debbies and crap like that. I love the state fair. I don't eat anything right before I go that day. Then I just stuff myself with as many things on a stick as I can eat. We need to got to the Iowa State fair together, you'd love it, it's the 2nd biggest and best in the country so theres lots of good food and stuff. I've tried diets before just so I can do the whole balanced life style crap while my Mom was dieting so she wouldn't be alone, but would eat junk when she wasn't there. LOL

Yeah, winter months are pretty awesome--holiday food, MonsterFest around Halloween, which calls for popcorn and fizzy stuff, and then there's leftovers and the cookies that someone always brings around. True, life shouldn't be spent pandering to others--takes the fun out of pissing them off. Not to mention, I've noticed that the extremely thin Hollywood waifs tend to look very tired and worn when they aren't airbrushed, properly lit, or extremely made up. Now who wants to age prematurely for a fashion, you know?
Mmmm, you have good taste in splurge food. Things of sticks are always much more awesome than things on plates--can't explain it, just a fact of life! I have never been to a fair (can you believe it? Weird, huh), it definitely sounds interesting. One of these days I'll start traveling--probably once my role in the business has stabilized.
LOL! I like that plan--My mother eats like a bird, so I can't do that, oh well. I tend to at least try to control my eating--I tend to eat when I'm upset, or more often, when I'm bored. Eating when I'm bored usually means that about 10 minutes later, I'm not only bored, I'm really uncomfortable! Speaking of food--I was reading through this, and it's hilarious. I don't have cable so all I basically get is CW, Fox and PBS. As you can imagine, I watch alot of PBS. That's so sad you haven't been to a state fair. I've practically been raised at fairs. Maybe it's cause my Mom's dad was a carni, it's in her blood.

Do you ever watch Masterpiece Theatre? I love that one, although I keep missing it on Sundays because I tend to either be online or just crash. They did a pretty good adaptation of Dracula a while back, with Marc Warren in the lead.
The Britcoms are great though--Keeping Up Appearances has got to be my favorite because Hyacinth reminds me of my grandmother.
Wow, sounds like a blast going to all those fairs! I think once when I was little my mother took me to a rodeo--but it was a church one, so somehow it seemed kind of...what's the word...well, when you have little scripture messages ready to zing out over the loudspeaker in the event of anything happening, it's not as much fun as, "Wooooooo!!!! SUGAR BUZZ!!!!"
