This is very true. I had a crush on this guy in high school until I ended up in the same class as him and we started hanging out and it was like: "...You're funny and all, but I wouldn't date you even if you paid me. What was I thinking!" *mental self slap*

And as far as the whole lovey dovey relationships go... Uh, well, I pretty much hate my ex with a burning passion equal to a thousand flames of eternity. (And that's putting it lightly! ) BUT I would probably still do anything to help him. But not speak to him. Nah-uh. (I'm full of contradictions - apparently this is what people call lovehate relationships. I just call it the natural response to dating an asswipe.)

Love and hate are just a fine line away from each other. They are the strongest emotions we have really...so they are up there in strength. That is why it is so typical that if you truly love someone....you can truly hate them one day too....
That being said, there isn't anyone I have ever loved that I didn't hate some things about them as well...lol...and they probably hated things about me too.
To truly love every single thing about someone would only bring on hate thru resentment anyway...cause you yourself are not perfect and then the hate would come from resentment. Does that make sense? Somehow it sounds like dribble now lol But maybe someone out there knows what I mean lol
